Having searching the Internet, Trio from IPEVO seemed to be the best choice for my personal conferencing. The brand new device is more expensive than the Free-1 model (a plain, basic phone without hands-free mode) almost double. However, they guarantee proper sound quality of hands-free mode which compensates the high price.

I got it last night, and called to my brother who lives in Japan. His impression was:
“Stop yelling me in cave! What is matter with your new stuff?”

Its basic feature—telephone mode—provides great sound quality. But, its hands-free mode can offend your Skype friends. Please, don’t dare to hurt your relationship with 8Hz sampling sound quality which sounds bad.

After additional tests with land line and cellular phones, I concluded the sound quality as below. Trio is a not-that-bad device with its price.
PC to PC on hand-held: Great sound qulaity
PC to PC on Hands-free: It could bother your caller; reasonable sounds time to time
PC to CP on Hand-held: Reasonable sounds like normal phone
PC to CP on Hands-free: Reasonable sounds like normal phone
(CP: celluar phone)
